Why HaYum-Yum exists

A warm doorway into Hayom Yom.

Hayom Yom is compact, layered, and filled with people, language, and Chassidic ideas that children are ready to discover. HaYum-Yum gives families a welcoming place to begin: read the teaching, meet its idea through a story, talk together, and choose one small action for the day.

Every day now keeps the published English Hayom Yom text beside an illustrated story, three ways to read, and a practical family action. The complete year is here as a working collection. Each story is still being read carefully by educators and rabbinic reviewers before public release.

Meet the neighborhood crew

Seven familiar companions, each still growing.

The children are contemporary fictional characters—not people from the Hayom Yom. Their different temperaments let families see that growth can begin through making, listening, questioning, leading, pausing, or wondering.
